Illegal Tactics
These illegal tactics usually take the form of corporations pressuring doctors to prescribe drugs for “off label” uses, that is uses other than what the drug was designed for. This increases the amount of product sold and increases the profits of the corporation. Since the drugs were not tested for side effects on this type of prescription many people suffer ill effects from untested drugs.
